The Exiled Challenge

Here is my first interactive workshop item. This is a challenge I took and now pass along to YOU the reader. One of my friends, Lone Raven Knight designed the blue ship you see in the picture. I decided I like the design but didnt like the way the skin of the ship was finished so I took up the challenge to design a ship of the same general size and shape but build it in a way that was entirely my own. The result? The grey ship in the picture. Here are the specs:

blue ship- this is a pocket cruiser which weighs about 12 million kg.

grey ship- this is an exploration ship which weighs about 27 million kg

Your challenge:

DESIGN AND BUILD A SHIP WHICH IS THE VAGUELY THE SAME SIZE AND SHAPE AS THE BLUE SHIP. THERE IS A LOT OF ROOM FOR VARIATION AND DESIGNING THE SHIP TO BE THE WAY YOU LIKE BUT YOUR SHIP AND THE BLUE SHIP MUST OBVIOUSLY BE OF A SIMILAR OUTWARD CONFIGURATION.

When you have completed the challenge, repost it on the workshop adding your ship in place of the grey ship and repost your results on the SEMPC forum on facebook.

ps- Lone Raven Knight has requested that I tell you the blue ship is an UNFINISHED version and his actual finished version is not necessarily the same as the one you see here.
