Dark Souls I and II: Power Within

The tome for this spell is found in front of the throne at Dragon's Reach.

Ever find your character being hurt too much and not dealing enough damage? This spell helps with that!

If you ever played Dark Souls I or II, you woud know that the pyromancy "Power Within" increases your attack damage but drains your health. This spell applies that effect. It also grants a boost to armor rating.

When you cast this spell you will have your health drained by 2 for 60 seconds. Do the math and you will lose around 120 health when the spell ends. However, it is possible to negate some of this effect. If you resist poison rather well then you're in luck as this spell will do less damage to you over time.

==TIPS==

This spell is targeted more to new players or weaker characters you may have. Higher level characters can use this spell for the great damage boost and some extra armor rating and the health drain may just be a slight side effect.

Warrior classes may find this spell very useful, but mages and assassins may have some problems.

Weaker mages that don't rely on melee often will find this spell causing more harm than help. The only good outcome of this spell for pure mages is the extra armor rating.

Weaker thieves will be gifted the extra damage that is needed for back stabs, but the health drain will take its toll very quickly.
