PMCVORI-08: Imber Sempiternus

Mission
PMC Versus operators will seize the FARP and hold it against the enemy counter-attack before destroying the BM-21 Grads and leaving the area.

Situation
August 4th, 2003: the СРГА has taken an old hotel two kliks east of Berezniki as a forward arming refueling base. NATO scouts have confirmed sightings of at least three BM-21 Grad MRL systems at the site and the hotel is poorly defended. The NATO local high command (callsign Red Crown) wants the Grads neutralized and PMC Versus operators (callsign November) have been inserted on site on a short notice.

The enemy has also notified the inadequate defences of the damaged Grads and NATO scouts have spotted reinforcements moving in from the south and east. The hotel can be easily defended thanks to its location and Red Crown wants November to seize the FAPR and hold it against the reinforcements before destroying the Grads and leaving the area.

A squad of NATO infantry (callsign Dagger) will assist November and upon receiving the order assault and hold the hotel area from the west. A single M2A2 IFV (callsign Landslide) will move along the dried up river and hold position just south of the hotel on November's command thus preventing the enemy reinforcements from crossing the river from the south.

Commission for this operation is 26,000 dollars.

Enemy
NATO scouts report that the FARP is poorly defended by a squad sized force of infantry and crew. The reports on the enemy reinforcements are mixed but November is to expect a squad sized force of infantry from the east and motorized infantry from the south.

It is imperative that November takes the FARP before the reinforcements arrive. If the СРГА forces reach the hotel before November, seizing the FARP will be extremely difficult. We cannot miss this opportunity to take out the Grads!

Due to the hasty departure from the northern Podagorsk, PMC Versus operators were not able to take their standard equipment with them. Red Crown was kind enough to provide November with some assault rifles confiscated from the local population.
