Train - Bomb Defusal

Counter-Terrorists: Prevent the terrorists from bombing the bombsites.

Terrorists: Eliminate the opposing force.

Other notes: A classic Counter-Strike favorite now available for CS:GO. Credits to Valve & the original map designer.

IMPORTANT: This map will be overwriting the previous existing version of de_train, so if you've downloaded this version of de_train you will have to make a backup of the default map de_train and switch between the two whenever you want to play this or the default map.

# This map is now deprecated and most likely won't work for Counter-Strike 2.

I just checked it. There's no issues with the map itself. It could be something on your end that causes it to display improperly, maybe try updating graphics drivers will fix it. I'm running it on a ASUS GTX 1060 6GB DUAL with no issues whatsoever. Please clarify the issue. :)

Can confirm it may load slow for like a few minutes depending on your PC performance. But it's loading relatively quick if you alt tab then enter the game again once all the map resources are loaded, that's basically what is happening. No problems with the map.

Also pay attention to the important clause.

If Valve added a player crouch height server command to the server commands, that'd probably be the best idea, but you don't see Valve doing that either. :resmile:

@bQ: That's ok but as I mentioned the map development has been put on hold for this map. I won't update it further for a while. One day there will be a update though which will allow players to crouch under the trains. I already knew about this issue 2 years ago but I just don't think it will change much to the map in general that's why I've not fixed this well known issue regarding the map. Because simply it won't make much of a big difference.

For me it was olways part of game to being able to sit under it and camp ;) I think we gonna test that map on our server, gonna tell you what people think about it

@bQ: This was the original CS 1.6 port of the map, so if you're gonna complain about the narrowness regarding some places then you're in the wrong place. I can understand the reasoning behind the not being able to crouch under the trains though but unfortunately I can't do much about it as I've lost interest in modifying this map further, at least for a while longer. I might one day make a update to this map with some fixes, so that players can crouch under the trains but until then I'm not sure if that will make a huge difference. Correct me if I'm wrong.

would be nice for small update to being able crouch under trains, also from SS some places seems narrow

@Headshot Deluxe: Yeah I suppose. Never heard of attax public, but I've played this map against podbots, so yea that's always fun. :)

@Xtal: It's a original port from CS 1.6, so yes you cannot crouch under the trains. But you can peak under them. Live with it.
