@piggywiggly when hosting/creating a game (single or multiplayer, I recommend multiplayer for the best experience). At the top right, game, select scenario. You should then see the lord of the ring map you subscribed to. Then make sure the settings are "normal" or "standard". The description is on this page just under the subscribe button. Tells you which civs and teams to pick.

i have subscribed and it is in my workshop. create a game? you mean multiplayer? and what description ??

@pigglywiggly104 First you subscribe. Then you create a game. The map should be under the scenarios. Please make sure you have all the settings correct (see description). The objectives and quests are all listed in the objectives/hint/scout tabs in game. This plays like a random map with premade bases. Completing quests yields a lot of bonuses.
