I checked, it's black knight indeed.
Not sure what you mean with "those aren't the armours" though. If you mean that those aren't the armor designs Shovel Knight wears in his game then yeah, why should they? It would be really confusing for players if, for example, a leather armor in CotNd looks like the Final Guard or Dynamo Mail. Color-wise, all armors are as close to the original CotNd armor equivalent as possible so players know what they're wearing at all times without having to learn new colors for each armor.
I checked the horns and compared the original Black Knight sprite from the game to my pixely rendition of it and it looks pretty accurate. His horns actually go slightly inwards and are less antenna-like and more cylindrical so I think I got it close enough.
