"During construction of this city's brand new racing circuit, being built for an upcoming 'Distance GP' race, an inexplainable occurrence caused the end portal structure to collapse onto the city below (Miraculously, no casualties were reported). Unfaltered, the city and track organizers carried on with the project with a new improvised layout around the fallen structure in hopes that the funds drawn from ticket sales and TV ratings would help to rebuild the damaged highrises."

Lore aside, this is a test of driver skill. Your only obstacle being the track itself. Just like other circuits I've made, touching the wall may result in being thrown off the track, or you suddenly exploding. Infinite cooldown is off, along with jumping and flying, so be cautious. A small mistake will set your time back quite a bit.
