So, the new year's approaching. Did you know that the ancient Egyptian new year festival lasted 5 days and fell between the 6th and 10th of September? Known to the Greeks as "epagomenae", these "days out of time" each marked the birth of one significant god. In order, they were Osiris, Haroeris (Elder Horus), Set, Isis and Nephthys. That would have been vaguely relevant if I released this yesterday. :/
