Cy-Pirates Station Last Hope

The station "Last Hope" is the main base of the Cy-Pirates. It consists of a spinning ring main area with medical bays, storage containers, refineries, assemblers and arc furnaces and plenty of room for expansion. The ring combined with spherical gravity generators allows you to continuously run around the station. It also boasts 8 landing pads and 10 connectors for both large and small ships. There is also a central module that contains the reactor, control panels and other items required for control of the station. You may also find some loot in various containers on the station, but watch out for the turrets!

Just under 350k triangles. Spinning is done by gyroscopes so no rotors or pistons have been used. Stations spins slowly so landing a ship is easy but if you need to stop it you can simply enable both the "up" and "down" gyroscopes so they counter each other. Thrusters are there for stabilization and provide very little thrust but do allow you to move the station slowly. A large ship has also been successfully docked on the connectors on the outside of the main ring and managed to spin with the station, however ensure that any connected ship has inertial dampeners turned off BEFORE connecting to the connector otherwise the station will end up being displaced.

Part of a collection of stations and ships for the Cy-Pirates faction. These mean nasty pirates shoot and loot anyone who comes near their outposts and main station ‘Last Hope’. Fitted with agile fighters, defensive turrets and a mean attitude they keep back any threat to them. Also in their disposal is a collection of welders, grinders and miners for managing and supplying their everyday operations.
