TAKI

Taki (タキ, also written as 多喜) is a ninja and hero in the Soul series of fighting games. She is a mainstay of the series appearing in nearly all of the installments.

Weapon: Rekki-Maru - A sword forged by Taki herself while a member of the Fu-Ma clan, its demon-ward blade can detect strong auras and unquiet atmospheres and transmit those feelings to its mistress Taki. The sword was shattered once when it was crossed with Soul Edge, but Taki later repaired it. It is Taki's preferred weapon, and it never leaves her side.

Held Item: Rekki-Maru Sheath - A protective sheath that protects Rekki-Maru from the elements

Shield: Sheathed Mekki-Maru - This is the enchanted sword that bewitched the master of the Fu-Ma ninjas and drove Taki to become a fugitive from the same clan. When she fused a fragment of the evil Soul Edge into Mekki-Maru, it surged with a power that even she could not control.

Ever since her debut in Soul Edge, she has always been easily recognized by her skin-tight red bodysuits, tied up hairstyles, and demon protecting armor. Though she has always supported colored tights as a base for her outfits

As a ninja, Taki puts her mission above everything else. She will end evil through her own ways. She seems to show concern to some people who are connected with Soul Edge (i.e. Sophitia) and warns them the dangers of the evil blade. She can be emotionless and serious, as a ninja should be. She easily sees through deceptions and will use the best attack to defeat her opponent.

Taki truly cares for her apprentice, Natsu, having chosen to take an active part in raising her due to her own perceived failure in stopping Arahabaki in time. However, she has mentally prepared herself to 'do what's necessary' if the seal containing the demon within Natsu were ever broken.
