NPCs With Benefits

Relationships:
Every Town NPC in the game (yes, even exclusive ones like Santa Claus) can be conversed with and have a relationship built with the player. Every Town NPC has been given a list of Hated, Disliked, Liked, and Loved Gifts, as well as assigned a birthday. In addition to these lists, there is also a global lists of generally Hated, Disliked, Liked, and Loved gifts, though some NPCs may have certain preferences.

Gifting items to NPCs builds their relationship level, and once high enough, can be dated and eventually married. (There is also a divorce mechanic, if you choose...)

Once dating or married to an NPC, you will be given gifts from them when talking with them from time to time. (There was once a mechanic to have them follow you around and give you buffs, but this was scrapped because I wanted to get the mod out before I bury myself into a hole of never ending development again) But, the mod will be open source after this announcement, and anyone can upload a new mod building off of this one if they choose.

Time Cycle:
Similar to Stardew Valley (this mod's inspiration), there are 4 seasons; Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Each season has 12 days. After going through an entire cycle of the 4 months, you will increment the year counter. As mentioned earlier, every NPC has been given a birth season and birth day, same goes for the player as well (that is decided and told to you on first entrance of a new character to a world) this player birthday can also be seen with the Calendar item.
