LZ129 Hindenburg

The Hindenburg was a Rigid Airship, the largest by volume and Length. She Was Built by the Zeppelin Company and Operated by the German Zeppelin Airline Company. She First Flew in March 1936, as a Passenger Airship with a Capacity of 50 Passengers, But more importantly was Her Use as a Nazi Propaganda Piece, All together She Made 63 Round Trips in her 14 Months Service Just Before she met Her Inevitable Fate when on the 6 May 1937 while attempting to land at Lakehurst Naval Air Station in Manchester Township, New Jersey, she Spontaneously Burst Into Flames, Killing 13 of the 36 Passengers, 22 of the 61 Crew and 1 Ground Crewman, 6 Crewmembers, 3 Passengers and 1 mother Ground Crewmember Died of Injuries in the Hours or Days After the Disaster. All in All the Disaster Lasted Just under 37 Seconds.
