Medusa's Retort

A hastily crafted submarine armed with three guns and amazing upwards and horizontal speed. However this vessel is not without its drawbacks, due to the cheap recycled hull it retains less physical integrity compared to other tier 1 subs. It also lacks downward descent speed and storage due to the small size. In order to utilize this ship without sinking, the Captain will have to display a near perfect understanding of their movement while the Gunner is required to make every shot count.


"Medusa's Retort" was what Shrew called his vessel of vengeance. Shrew was the Captain of his late crew. He retells how within the darkened fog of Europa's oceans, a great beast emerged, and with it it brought death. His whole crew now rests under the dark ocean, except him. Upon his retreat, Shrew hand crafted this submarine to carry out what his crew couldn't. The quick and cheap construction resulted in a giant mess of wires and scrap floating about under the ship, and in an ironic way took shape of the creature that sunk the last. He didn't intent for this ship to be used again vigorously nor taken deeper, it was made for the sole purpose of finding the devil and instilling retribution.

This sub is intended to be a glass cannon type submarine, with fun workarounds to keep it a strong submarine while not being absolutely busted.

Hey! This is my first sub I've ever published let alone intended to be used in campaign. Glad it's finished and I hope this will be a fun sub to pilot yourself. Even though it's my first sub I still attempted to add components that keep it different, but not too different (or broken) as to keep it vanilla-ish. Thank you for checking this submarine out!
