Day 6 | 'Centurion' - Rogue Security Tower (NO DLC)

Introducing Day Number 06, the ’Centurion’ - Rogue Security Tower

“I’ve only managed to decode a few files, but it's so much more than I could have possibly imagined. There is a reason the deal changed, and there’s a reason you can’t remember. When the merge happened, it didn’t just collide physical entities into the same space, it converged alternate realities. This version of the corporation, it’s from another dimension, where they weren’t so… amicable.

There’s some sort of memetic lock filtering this out, but as soon as I saw the data, the hard evidence, it’s hold on me faded. I remember what these towers used to be, and the moment they changed. The fact the residents of the colonies weren’t aware despite such obvious differences makes complete sense now, someone or something was blocking their perception.

Whatever is causing this is incredibly powerful, and by the readings shown, there is no way it’s isolated. This has to be affecting all the other systems; furthermore, this cognitive effect seems to intensify at the core of the split - the site of the Frostfall station. Those at the edge of the universe may even be fully aware of this, but they have no way of telling us, as they are essentially 2000 years in the past.

It is vital that this information reaches the WEC on Luna; they are the only ones that can decrypt the rest of the data and convene with the terran factions in the core systems. Unfortunately I won’t be able to do it myself, as the only way to take the shield down now is a well placed blasting charge, and I seem to have forgotten my timers - so I'm trusting you to get this in the right hands.

I may not have started this for the right reasons, but I'll make sure to end it for them. Goodbye old friend.”
