Interplanetary troop transport for The Colony of Altiirea. Used for peacekeeping and riot suppression on planets/stations. Not for fighting other ships or giving proper fire support.

Bottom-facing connector with camera

Ship status: (4 and the left button)
Red: Everyone in their seats, we are flying.
Green: Time to go, on the bounce.

This ship has a crew of 2

(one per shift; the other pilot is on the carrier/support ship)

While the Driden is a planetary assault craft, they are mainly used against stations to shore up defences or quell a rebellion.
They are often escorted by defence fighters.

An assault cruiser was deployed to an astroid base that had recently fallen quiet.
Once they got to the area something was amiss, random ships were floating around the station motionless showing minimal life signs.
The captain deployed the 4 assault ships to investigate the situation.
Four dridens moved in to land suddenly they were hit by a red energy beam. All that could be heard over comms was the screaming before suddenly silence.
The troop transports were hit but not damaged, showing similar readings as the derelict ships around.

This ship is designed for lore, and while it does work in survival, there are better options out there for you. Please note, it's not intended for PVP, so let's appreciate it for what it is.
