U-Boat U-66 WWII Submarine

WWII torpedos were steam powered hence the famous torpedo trail and they were stupid fast at over 40 knots and had very good range. the electric homing torpedos were primarally used against escorts as a defense with similar range as the steam power and were not as common on standard loadouts due to its low supply, standard loadout was usually 2-3 out of 14 and they were loaded in the stern tube as a last resort with the steam powered fish were in the bow.

A simple electric motor slows down when battery voltage drops, since lower voltage means less torque and less propeller thrust. Older or low tech torpedoes would show exactly this behavior, so it is realistic for that tech level considering this is a WW2 submarine. Hope this helps!

the torpedoes probally need more batteries or maybe using that charger block you could make the prop go full speed because the motor slows down the closer the battery is to emptying also i have not used the build yet

but the torps are a little slow and slow down over time

Good build, i like it. i just wish there was a little more stuff, mabye like a dive alarm with a little more realism but the guided torps is awsome and everthing works good.
