My mod changes AI behavior from the very start of the campaign — both in terms of which buildings the AI prioritizes and which units it recruits. This has a noticeable impact on overall faction balance and creates a more dynamic campaign map.
The mod works well alongside other mods, and yes — it also affects modded units as long as they are included in the AI’s recruitment pools.
If you notice anything odd or have feedback, feel free to let me know!
would they work together? Also does this mod also effect modded units (considers them aswell)?
Thank you, truly — reading this made my day.
I wanted AI armies to feel dangerous and lore-friendly, so I’m very happy it landed that way for you.
If you run into anything that could be improved, just let me know.
And thanks a lot for the like + favorite! ⚔️❤️
I tried this mod with Hecleas Grand Strategy and I just wanted to say that your mod is my favorite recruitment mod. I believe it blends the best of both worlds when talking about the other recruitment mods from Incanta and Heljumper.
Your mod made AI armies challenging yet feel loreful in their composition. It blended engaging gameplay with immersion. The best of it all. Thank you for this Sir. I'll report back with my future playthroughs and give feedback if applicable.
Liked and Favorited this mod already thank you my friend.
It also should be compatible with DeepWar AI, as it doesn’t overwrite the same systems.
This update includes a set of small but meaningful tweaks:
• Vampire Counts
Refined mid-/late-game recruitment logic to make them slightly stronger and more consistent.
AI now prioritizes better military buildings and unlocks elite units more reliably.
• Beastmen
Adjusted army templates for improved composition and overall performance.
• Bretonnia
Minor recruitment logic cleanup to ensure more stable and thematic mid-game stacks.
More factions will receive tuning in the next updates. Thanks for all the feedback!
Bretonnia full of peasant trash, Chaos Dwarfs spamming orc labourers, and many other factions just not using their roster properly.
There will definitely be more updates as I catch more issues and refine the templates.
Although… with the DLC dropping tomorrow, I’ll have a little less time for modding 😄
But I’ll keep pushing updates whenever I can!
