Smuggler's Run

描述
This mod adds some Kenshi-inspired things, namely a new growable desert cacti crop and smokebrick (hashish)! Good mod very good 10/10

Fr though I love Kenshi and I felt like carrying some of the items over into Rimworld (changed as to not be a 1:1 copy though). Bluefinger cacti are inspired by the real-world San Pedro cactus and some other species that naturally turn blueish-reddish. Smokebrick is obviously just hashish.

Bluefinger Cactus
A tall, edible cactus with an iconic purple tinge towards the top. Bluefinger cacti are slow to grow and don't yield much food, but they are tolerant of poor soil and high heat. Supposedly, the first person to cultivate these on this Rimworld was colourblind.
Growth time: 9 Days (Real Grow Days is 16.6 due to night-time and plant resting)
Yield: 15 bluefinger flesh
Notes: Very much intended for deserts or other tiles with extreme heat! To grow this in the desert, you can create extra space for growing zones by making tilled sand!

Bluefinger Flesh
Harvested flesh from the bluefinger cactus. Can be cooked into meals, dried into chewsticks, or made into cactus rum.

Chewsticks
Preserved chewsticks made by completely drying bluefinger cacti. It lasts a very long time without refrigeration, and is great for travelling. Best you can do with nothing but cactuses.
Notes: Functionally identical to pemmican, but you don't need meat to make it.

Cactus Rum
A very strong alcohol that is common in the deserts. It dehydrates you like nothing else, so it's usually considered a rare luxury. When it gets imported into the greenlands where water isn't an issue, then they drink it like mad men.
Notes: While intoxicated, pawn has +20C of heat tolerance.

Smokebrick
A crumbly brick of refined smokeleaf, ideal for those seeking a soothing high that is far stronger and longer than usual. Smokebrick is also more profitable than Smokeleaf joints, but it is also more addictive and the use of industrial solvents in its production introduces the added risk of overdosing.
Notes: Higher profit margins, better for a dedicated smokeleaf grow op. Basically hashish.

Bloodrum
A fine rare spirit that rich people put on their shelves to impress their friends, made by combining cactus rum and smokebrick. Alongside the heat resistance yielded by cactus rum, this also increases shooting skills. Bloodrum is considered contraband in most places, but for those willing to smuggle it, high profits await.
Notes: Both ranged cooldown and aiming time are increasingly reduced with drunkeness. Also sells for 42 silver a bottle!

@Upset_Man Thank you, I appreciate your sharp eye. I'm releasing mod version 1.3. Crafting time has been added to bloodrum recipe (and bulk recipes for bloodrum are added also).

Hashish is already set to play the sound Recipe_Drug in the recipemaker (same as how its defined for Flake, Yayo etc), and this is just a naturally quiet sound effect in the base game.

Okay, I've noticed another bug, the recipe for bloodrum is instantaneous, seemingly it takes 0 work to complete. I also somewhat noticed that the sfx for creating hashish in the drug lab is very quiet, but I'm not sure if it's just playing the sfx for brewing or nothing at all.

@Upset_Man hello, and thanks for noticing this! Sometimes I do not catch every issue in my own testing. This was just an issue with the bulk chewsticks recipe not outputting the correct amount of product. This was unintentional on my end. I have just updated the mod to fix the issue. Chewsticks should be more useful now.

As a sidenote for efficiency, the bluefinger cactus is already nerfed with a nutrition-per-day ratio that is lower than any of the three main crops, so it's fine for chewsticks to have the same efficiency as pemmican :) (especially since you can just use the cactus as an ingredient for pemmican anyway)

So I've noticed the recipe for chewsticks is 2 nutrition's worth of cactus which yields 16 chewsticks (0.4 nutrition) while pemmican's recipe is 1 nutrition of meat and 1 nutrition of plants for 64 pemmican (1.6 nutrition). Chewsticks have a 25% efficiency compared to pemmican. I understand that pemmican still needs to be better so these cactuses aren't just OP but this is ridiculously bad to where I'm just going to use the cactus for animal feed to raise animals to make pemmican instead. It probably be better if the chewsticks just have a small -3 or so moodlet on consumption or something, even a recipe that's just a little worse than pemmican would still be pretty bad overall.

@ferny
Currently, sand growing zones can't be placed on tilled sand. I originally added tilled sand so that users wouldnt have to rely on VE More Plants (since I personally consider it rather bloated). The current fertility values will need to be changed again so that Bluefinger cacti can be planted in their sand growing zones. I might make a compatibility patch to address these things in the near future

How does tilled sand interact with sand growing zones from Vanilla Expanded?

when i first saw my colonist's mood section (i freely allow them to use any sort of social drug ying around whenever they're sad) and saw they we're "Bricked Up" i started dying of laughter because i had no idea that referred to the smokebrick and i thought it was talking about his junk. anyways, great mod man.
