L'Etat, c'est moi

描述
It makes no sense that a decentralized mess like the Jalayrids or France at the start of HYW has bonuses for vassals. It is specifically centralization that gives governments more power to exert control over their subjects.

France struggled against England specifically because it was decentralized and its vassals did whatever they wanted instead of obeying the crown but for some reason people think that being decentralized should make vassal play easier and more powerful.

Do people think that Soviet Union would have had an easier time subjugating Eastern Europe if every SSR was semi-independent? Or that HRE which historically reached 100 decentralization actually had +30 subject loyalty? Certainly everyone thinks that Ilkhanate was a super powerful vassal swarm, right?

This mod corrects this nonsensical belief. Decentralization is objectively bad and centralization is objectively good.

Changes to vanilla values:

Centralization:
-30% diplo annexation cost
-30 subject opinion (not loyalty)
removed malus to subject loyalty

Decentralization:
-10 tax efficiency
+50 subject opinion (again, not loyalty)
removed bonus to subject loyalty

Subjects will no longer drift you towards decentralisation

I gave specifically ai France a massive bonus to subject loyalty between 1400 and 1550 to help them centralize because otherwise they stay a mess all the way till the end date.

If you don't want this go to in_game/common/auto_modifiers and either delete the file there or disable it by changing its extension to smt like ".dis".

@SgtPepperSoul I'll look into it. I think there was an easy subjects opinion modifier I can add

I love the idea.

Might suggest a mild penalty of like, -30 vassal opinion (They obey, but they resent you for it), just so centralization has some cost to it, but it should be an objectively superior playstyle.

@HayDone They must have been on some kind of heavy drugs when they cooked 1.0.8. I saw the post about massive Roman and Russian empires being unable to control their opms

Nice changes - will check it out.
Makes no sense that all the good estate privledges "cost" decentralization drift, but then 1.08 made Centralization bad.
