• Legacy of the Dragon - Conflicts with LoV — both modify culture/dynasty/dragon systems. Test in a separate save; can conflict with LoV + COW. (optional)
• County Temperaments - Modifies provinces and baronies — known conflict with AGOT/LoV runtime
• Populated World! - Alters province generation → heavy memory + crash risk with LoV
• Immersive Personalities - Alters traits/personality tables → unstable with LoV + AGOT+
• Immersive Mercs & Raiders - Modifies wars/AI → crashes in LoV campaigns
• Better Battles Updated - Overwrites combat engine → high chance of CTD
• Dynamic Family Portrait (vanilla) – There is AGOT version and they should not both be installed together
• Ancient Birthright – More Valyrian Faiths and Flavours - Conflicts with LoV and Bloodlines → runtime crash
• Bloodlines: Legacies of AGOT - Runtime dynastic corruption → crashes in LoV

• AGOT – LoV Addon: More Valyrian Tenets - the original mod is abandoned, and the last working version was for AGOT 1.9 and NOT compatible with Legacy of Valyria. No one has made a working compatch for LoV + that mod. You cannot safely run it with your mod list. It would break religions AND trigger memory crashes.
• More Lifestyles & AGOT+ - causes artifact error (old saves & large mod list also conflict)
• AGOT Colourful Westeros – caused new character crashes
• Better Character UI & Better UI Scaling – council members disappeared
• Immersive Realm Laws & AGOT Stability Patch - Cassus Belli and Claims Issue
• Viet Events – Legend Crash
• Legends of Valyria- Causing several major crashes!!! Heir inheritance both upon death and with traits, buildings display issues, issues with vassals and characters taking over realms, war issues. Most of these bake into your saves as well and remain unfixable the heir crash completely ruined my long play through. From what I could figure out this has a lot to do with it being incompatible with AGOT+.

• Load order is optimized
• All known crash mods are disabled.
• This setup should run hours without crashing, even on long campaigns but report errors.
• Add optional UI/flavor mods last, always test 30+ mins in a new game before using in your main save.

🟢 Artifact Fix
• Step 1: Update/Clean Install AGOT+ or Disable It
• Step 2: Remove all saves to new folder or desktop
• Step 3: Delete entire cache folder Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/cache
• Step 4: Delete gfx folder Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings III/
• Step 5: Delete entire mod folder Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod
• Step 6: Verify integrity of game files (CK3>properties>installed files>verify integrity of game files)
• Step 7: Clear Steam Cache (Steam Tab>Settings>Downloads>Clear Cache)
• Step 8: Load game with all current mods on list and play with new saves icons returned
Unfortunately if you put your saves back it messes up again so you can either start fresh or live with it till a better fix comes. This issue also seems to be related to a high volume mod list or size of individual mods. This IS NOT a guaranteed fix but has worked for s
