描述
This mod enables quick slide as a consequence of my kick to barge addon. Sliding creates smoke, so I think it has a cinematic effect.

To perform the quick slide, you need to bind your key to +walk command(Create or open a file named "left4dead2/cfg/autoexec.cfg". Then add a line ‘bind <yourkey> +walk’ to it.).

Sliding has the effect of staggering infected. You can experience sliding attacks like in Resident Evil 6.

For those who dislike screen shaking
This mod is a part of my unrecord experience. Please check my main progress as well. Pairing this addon, you can reduce weird shake of sliding.

known limitation
  • If you install Cuba's Coach Crawl & Stomp Fix this problem will be resolved. Coach is the only one who cannot slide. This is because he does not have a sliding animation prepared. If you want use this mod with my kick to barge addon, please use slot28 rng shove animation as a kick to barge required item.
  • Several people have also pointed out an issue where characters can jump while sliding. This bug does not occur with this mod alone; it seems to be caused by incompatibility with some other mod.
  • The cause currently known is: auto bunny hop script, double jump script, air dash script
  • not works well with vscript addon on scripted mode
  • slide direction is not completely accurate

Update
Fixed an issue where performance slowed down when caught by SI.
Fixed an issue where players could slide after dying.
Fixed an issue where only one player could slide in multiplayer.
Added 5 new settings: supressShake, staggerSurvivor, staggerTank, staggerCharger, keybind

theres bug that the suppresShake will work if you done with 1 stage, if you try start new game it become sahke again

For starters the mod works for me, i do have some gripes for this mod though. First is that when i slide i don't side straight and go a little to the side for some reasons, even when holding straight. The second is that in the mod menu is that it for some reason conflict with the dynamic light: muzzle flash mod, even know it doesn't really cause any problems, it still bugs me personally.

It's not only this mod that stops working. For some reason, after we died and the level restarts, the health restore and this sliding mod stops working. It works again after I start a new chapter or a new game.

I got the addon recently, but never got it to work, even the ems files wasn't popping up, idk if its a my game problem or the addon genuinely doesn't work for the time being

Does "supressShake" helps disable screenshake?
