Stargate: Lambda (Stargate Half-Life Crossover) Demo Campaign

This is a level from one of the campaigns in the mod that I have made for G-Mod over the last month.

This campaign contains Textures, Models, Sounds, NPCs, Weapons, and entities that are placeholders and will not be in the final mod IF I decide to resume development of it. Any content for the other required addons is a placeholder.

I would like to resume development of this mod someday when I get the nessesary experince but that is far from gaurenteed


During the 7 hour war, The Combine invaded and took over Stargate Command. SG-1, General Hammond, and Dr. Fraisher escape through the stargate to the Alpha Site Where they set up an offworld base and resistance operation. Meanwhile, the combine discover the stargate and use it to invade other worlds in the Galaxy. They go to war with The Goa'uld, which eventually ends in a stalemate. Meanwhile, The Resistance on the Alpha site is in collabration with The Resistance on Earth. Possibly, The Ori will be alerted to our Galaxy like in SG-1 Season 9, and invade our galaxy. They will go to war with both the Goa'uld and Combine, eventually leading to a 3-way stalemate. But, I have not made up my mind on weather to have The Ori or not. Eventually, Gordon Freeman Returns and The events of Half-Life 2 and the episodes happen. The mod takes place after a hypotherical Half-Life 3 and assumes that the events of Episode 3 results in the combine being kicked off of Earth as well as Alyx Vance being Rescued from The GMan. During the uprising, the SGC is recaptured by the resistance and the stargate program is resumed. The Combine being kicked off Earth has weakened their position in the galaxy and has thus destablised their stalemate with the goa'uld which as lasted sevral years. Gordan Freeman Joins The New Stargate Program.


After studying the Replicator android Reese From The Stargate SG-1 Season 5 Episode "Menace" and the Planet where they found her, Stargate Command discovered a refrence to a gate address. It leads to an uncharted planet that was not on the Abydos Cartuche, but instead in the Alteran database from The Stargate SG-1 Season 2 Episode "The 5th Race". The MALP telemetry sent back images of a barren desert wasteland orbiting a blue star with high surface UV radiation. The Planet is located thousands of light-years away from any stargate world in the computer's database. You (Gordan Freeman) are sent there to investagate.

You will haft to maniualy dial the stargate when you spawn in by pressing use on it and double clicking the only address in the menu that appears. The address for Earth is AEN2ZU

The map name is sgl_demo in the "other" catagory

The doors take a few seconds to really be open after they appear to be open

This Mod assumes you are familiar with the lore of both Stargate and Half-life

I did not intend to finish this just as Amazon announced a new stargate series and Half-Life 3 being relesed seems to be most credibable but that is how it worked out.

Also, this campaign or a potential completed product will never be on The Half-Life 2 Workshop because this addon contains stuff that can't be on The HL2 workshop and a completed mod will have enough content that it will haft to be a full-blown mod and not just a workshop addon. It may get put on steam and have it's own workshop, though.

IF I create this mod, I plan to have a Garry's Mod port of it
