Kit Fox "AA" 13-ton Protomech

About weight: Tonnage is calculated from the vehicle "Weight" using water as a reference.
Water in FTD weighs 37.5 , which means the weight of the vehicle must be divided by it (H20 irl weighs 1Kg for scale) and by 100.

The Kit Fox is an experimental design of original construction of late 2025, at a place of isolated technological development outside of Neter, codenamed differently by the OPFor as it limited itself to outside atmospheric engagements during first encounter. As it's name implies, they are of the smallest species of true foxes.
While it does retain armor and speed, Protomechs are smaller than "normal" individual Mechs, which are in the 20+ ton range. The Kit Fox or Uller in particular was meant as a follow-up development of an ulterior scheme, which also only had small missiles.

In this scenario, the Kit Fox is a stolen idea, from the Battletech franchise, which spans 'Mechwarrior, Mechassault and the namesake table-top, in which the Kit Fox is a 30-ton Clan 'Omni' Mech with long-range firepower.

The Protomech is more of an infantry support vehicle, though some of them could see use as greater tactical interventions. This one has a single diesel engine, powering mostly the vehicle's motion, and has spinclipped components for volume reduction.

While it retains a small missile interceptor array, the Kit Fox here focuses on close range firepower, namely small missiles and simple weapons.

The simple weapons include one Magshot in each arm. The Magshot is an experimental spinclipped weapon, which fires shard ammunition and is quite expensive for it's size. The missiles are two 12-tube reloadable small SRMs, one in each arm.
This design was poorly reviewed, having only seen brief combat phases, and proving that the Protomech is indeed just a sophisticated infantry unit with larger-than-normal shins, all the while lacking the numbers of traditionnal infantry. It's current configuration is undertonnage as well, making it less desirable as compared to other Protomechs.
