Awakening

The graphics have been significantly improved. All graphical changes were made with an emphasis on the original, preserving the atmosphere.
New camps have been added. Many unique quests not found in other mods have also been added.
Balance has been reworked. Skill progression is now similar to that of Gothic II.
Many types of crafting have been added. You can now learn blacksmithing, alchemy, runecrafting, iron mining and smelting, leatherworking, bow crafting, as well as cooking and swamp dungeons.
A new companion has been added, with abilities unique to Gothic. You can exchange weapons and armor with this companion, and their skills will grow, making their relevance entirely up to you. Companions can now wait anywhere in the world.
A variety of new equipment has been added, including armor, shields, helmets, and belts. A wealth of new magic has been added.
Fishing has been added, and can be done in any body of water in the Colony. Many new monsters have been added.
