Welsh Revolution - The FAW Windfall Era v1.0

In the summer of 2025, the Football Association of Wales secures a transformative long-term broadcast and infrastructure investment deal. With stable funding in place, the FAW launches the largest structural overhaul in Welsh football history. The aim is simple: reunify the national game, elevate professional standards, and restore the cross-border identity that once defined Welsh football through the Welsh Cup.

This database places all five Welsh clubs currently in the English system back into a fully rebuilt Welsh pyramid, while also granting entry to several English clubs with genuine historical Welsh Cup heritage. Improved finances, boosted attendances, and fully re-balanced competitions help create a playable world that feels authentic, competitive, and built for long-term saves.

- Cymru North/South (two 16 team regional leagues)

- Shrewsbury Town (6 Welsh Cup victories)
- Chester City (3 Welsh Cup victories)
- AFC Telford United (3 Welsh Cup victories as Wellington Town)
- Crewe Alexandra (2 Welsh Cup victories)
- Hereford (1 Welsh Cup victory)
- Tranmere Rovers (1 Welsh Cup victory)
- Bristol City (1 Welsh Cup victory)
- Bristol Rovers (0 Welsh Cup victories but invited due to being a large club close to the border and their main rivals will now play in the Welsh league)
