Massive and winding walls make it difficult for besiegers to find a good point of attack to storm Stuttgart Castle. It may not seem so, but a well-structured construction and a sophisticated positioning of the towers require a fair amount of strategy to even consider attempting a siege. Many generals have already underestimated this and met their end at the foot of the castle walls.
