Let the power of your Knight flow through your veins- The Imperial Knights

The nobles of the Questor Mechanicus have sworn to defend Gladius in the name of the Omnissiah.

The Imperial Knights are a faction focused on their gigantic walker units and are supported by the Skitarii and Tech-Priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus in their endeavor.

The Imperial Knights build a single Hive City on Gladius. Research allows you to build this city wider and taller than any other Hive City. Furthermore conquering outposts will increase your cities growth rate.

Sworn to their Code Chivalric the Imperial Knights value duty, honour and service to the Omnissiah above everything. Give your Armiger and Imperial Knight units powerful abilities with long cooldowns. Reduce the cooldown of those abilities by defeating enemy units.

Every Imperial Knight has a Bondsman ability unique to its pattern, that allows it to empower a nearby Armiger unit for a short term.

Actually, I think it should be okay, as your Armiger Helverin is under the ImperialKnights_MT folder.

Hi Malaikat, is the new official Armiger Helverin going to conflict with your one in this mod? The unit names seem to be identical.

I started by designing the fully empowered Armiger and Knights and then downscaled them to have unit progression throughout the entire tech tree. Early knights being stronger fully researched Armiger just happened so I could scale their defenisve stats. The only stats I really took a deeper look are the final stats of each unit.

Why do the Knights have less armor and less HP than Armigers? Shouldn't they have as much if not more?

I don't know if this is be design or not but my goodness is the economy ROUGH on these guys. I am finding it so hard to gather the resources I need to keep up recruitment. Space Marines handle it because the Fortress of Redemption gives outpost bonuses (like the extra loyalty) to the city. This faction does not have that, and I think it needs that mechanic to not get left in the dust.

@Malaikat Hello, can you please create a sub mod for the ADEPTUS MECHANICUS or ASTRA MILITARUM to hire imperial knights from this mod? I think many donors want this too.

Archeotech Masters research doesnt actually seem to increase tile acquisition radius, i believe it should increse from 3 to 4, but it stays at 3.

Well I've played a few games with it now (I mean, literally just started my third so "few" is accurate) and I have to say it's easily one of my favorite new factions. I think I still like your chaos knights and titans factions just a little more, but this one is definitely a keeper!

On a side note: these days I play with starting tech 10 about half the time (only so many times I'm willing to climb the research ladder) and so any quibbles about Armigers and things are rendered pretty moot with that.

Any hints about future content for this one? I'm not sure what more could reasonably added, as the knights are sadly not the most fleshed out of factions (compared to things like the smurfs etc) but I always look forward to your updates!
