Aliaile


The Aliaile are born with a naturally high level of psychic sensitivity and innate psionic potential.
They possess empathic perception that allows them to sense emotions, faint telekinetic ability to move small objects, and a sharp intuition that sometimes feels like a glimpse into the future.

These traits strengthen as their psychic attunement grows, influencing nearly every aspect of their behavior — social grace, diplomacy, accuracy, evasion, and even the speed and success of various types of work.
However, if they ever lose their psychic sensitivity for any reason, their abilities will rapidly deteriorate, falling even below the level of an ordinary human.
Depending on their lineage, they begin life with special Psicast abilities already awakened.

The Aliaile are also known for their remarkably long lifespan.
This longevity shapes their perception of time and values, which differ greatly from those of shorter-lived species.
Many Aliaile find it difficult to set a clear “goal in life,” preferring instead to spend their days in comfort and quiet joy.
They have a strong tendency to cherish the past, remembering pleasant experiences vividly and for a long time.
Because of this, they are often seen as gentle and hedonistic, living by a philosophy that values the happiness of the present, nourished by memories of joy.

Their long lives also affect how they learn.
The Aliaile acquire new skills slowly, but once mastered, their knowledge and abilities rarely fade.
They retain experience exceptionally well, suffering very little natural decay over time.

Dimiaile


The Dimiaile are said to be descendants of humans and Aliaile — a lineage born of both grace and endurance.
While they have inherited a touch of the Aliaile’s elegance and sensitivity, their bodies are far sturdier, and over time they became the backbone of labor, construction, and defense within their society.

Like their ancestors, the Dimiaile possess a degree of psychic attunement, enhancing their physical performance, efficiency, and precision as it grows.
Yet, they lack the deep empathic resonance and spiritual sensitivity of the pure-blooded Aliaile, focusing instead on the tangible and practical aspects of psychic power.
This makes them pragmatic, grounded, and rational by nature.

Though not as long-lived as the Aliaile, the Dimiaile still live longer than humans, and are considered a relatively long-lived people.
They share the Aliaile’s calm temperament and patience, but combine it with a more realistic mindset and strong sense of responsibility.
Socially adept and cooperative, they play essential roles in maintaining and supporting Aliaile civilization.

In essence, the Dimiaile embody a balanced harmony — the spiritual refinement of the Aliaile and the practicality of humankind — making them indispensable in fields such as labor, construction, security, and warfare.

Culture & Life: The People of Wine


For both Aliaile and Dimiaile, alcohol is not just a pleasure — it’s a vital part of life itself.
Their physiology depends on alcohol as a source of nourishment and mental stability.
As a result, vast estates centered around vineyards have formed the foundation of their culture.

Within these estates, an elegant and deeply unique wine culture has flourished.
Their wines are far more than luxury goods — each blend serves a specific purpose.
Some enhance psychic sensitivity, others boost social or combat prowess, accelerate healing, or grant resistance against toxins and disease.
These are not mere indulgences, but survival tools — wisdom refined through hardship — forming both the spiritual and economic backbone of Aliaile society.



Traveling wine merchants are a familiar sight among Aliaile settlements.
Players can produce wine and trade it with these caravans to earn income and strengthen relations with the Aliaile community.


Genes and Xenotypes


Both Aliaile and Dimiaile possess four distinct xenotypes each, representing their inherent diversity and social heritage.
Each race carries unique exclusive genes, along with several shared, general-purpose genes available to both.

There is a strong correlation between xenotype and social class.
The Aliaile are born into noble and intellectual lineages, their xenotypes reflecting grace, discipline, and psionic refinement.
The Dimiaile, in contrast, embody the strength and endurance of the working class, their xenotypes adapted for labor, resilience, and survival.

Among the Aliaile, psionic potential is innately determined by genetics — each xenotype grants access to different Psicast abilities from birth.

Steam and Pipelines


The Aliaile have developed a unique, steam-driven industrial civilization.
They harness geothermal vents and underground heat sources to extract and refine steam energy.

This energy is stored in units called Steam Cores, which serve as versatile sources of power and fuel.
Through a vast network of pipelines, Steam Cores deliver energy efficiently to facilities and workshops, powering production, heating, and automation.
Moreover, Steam Cores are a crucial material used in the creation of automatons — mechanical constructs that assist in labor and combat.


In Aliaile society, steam and pipelines are deeply intertwined with everyday life, economy, and defense.
They form the foundation upon which their civilization is built — a perfect fusion of nature’s energy and mechanical ingenuity, sustaining advanced life even in harsh environments.

Automaton Technology & Steam Industry


The Aliaile have refined the use of geothermal steam energy to an extraordinary degree, applying it across every aspect of labor, production, and warfare.
Among their greatest inventions are the steam-powered automatons — mechanical companions that embody the spirit of their civilization.

Labor Automatons
Labor automatons form the backbone of Aliaile industry and society.
They serve in noble estates, assist in mining, agriculture, and factory work — tirelessly maintaining the rhythm of daily life.
With their natural aptitude for mechanite control, the Aliaile excel at managing these intricate machines, making automatons a common and reliable workforce throughout their society.

Combat Automatons
Combat automatons come in many forms — from humanoid soldiers and quadrupedal heavy weapon platforms, to massive command units that coordinate swarms of smaller drones.
All are powered by Steam Cores and operated through the Aliaile’s exceptional mechanite synchronization.



Together, steam and steel form the twin pillars of Aliaile civilization — a world where artistry, machinery, and psionics coexist in elegant balance.

In this mod, shields do not interfere with allied projectiles fired from outside the shield; they pass through unhindered, while only enemy projectiles are blocked.

Hi, I encountered an error when the game tries to render a pawn icon (likely in the Quest Reward window).

The log points to FacialAnimation.EyeballControllerComp.LoadTextures failing at System.Linq.Enumerable.First. It seems like it's trying to load an eye texture but the list is empty.

This error is caused by a small mistake in the translation mod.
If you remove the half-width space that comes after
「一块装饰有Aliaile光环意象的浅浮雕,用于铺设地面。」
in \steamapps\workshop\content\294100\3615501701\Languages\ChineseSimplified\DefInjected\ThingDef\FloorCoverings.xml, the issue should be resolved.
