Step 1: Locate the Game Folder

Open Steam → Library → Ghostbusters... → Settings-Icon → Manage → Browse local files

Step 2: Run the Game Executable

In the opened folder, double-click ghost.exe.

Step 3: Check for Errors

If you see error messages mentioning any of the following files, continue with the next step.
If not, this guide probably does not solve your issue.

Step 4: Install the Required DirectX Files

Open your browser and go to the official Microsoft download page: DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer [www.microsoft.com]
Download and install it.
Restart your PC.
Try launching the game again.
