TL;DR This mod edits the death music that plays when the player dies to something a bit less needlessly dramatic.

Consider it a pet peeve, but I've never particularly liked death or defeat screens in the first place, so when said death and defeat screens are massively overdone, it only makes me want to put the game away entirely. In Conan Exiles' case, the death screen is fine, but the music it plays is just completely disconnected from reality. This isn't a permadeath game. Heck, if you disable equipment drop on death, the only consequence to dying is being teleported across the map, and the vanilla music just does not fit with that. Even worse is the fact that the game has its own lore reason for why the player respawns instead of dying permanently (it's there, read the long descriptions for beds and bedrolls), so there is even less reason to treat dying in this game as anything more than a minor inconvenience.

The song I changed this too is a bit more appropriate given the lack of stakes involved in death in this game. Dark and brooding, yes, but that fits because you did DIE, after all. But notably more calm than vanilla, which I think helps encapsulate that you are not just an exile, but also seemingly trapped in a cycle of death and rebirth.

Due to the nature of the assets in question, I was unable to figure out how to set up a mod controller for them. As such, the following assets were hard-edited:
