End of an era. Begining of a master plan.
Finally, the P-10 class is finally done and the most detailed & PROTOTYPICAL locomotive I'VE EVER MADE. As of now >:)

History
The P-10 class Pacifics were first made in October 1923 with the first batch having 2478-2483 (Build Number in order of the numbers 57227, 57228, 57254, 57255, 57264, & 57266), and the second batch having 2484-2491 (57630, 57631, 57632, 57633, 57634, 57652, 57653, & 57654), all made by Baldwin. The 2nd batch included boosters which gave the engines an extra 10150 tractive effort. The specifications were 73 inch diameter drivers = P-73 Cylinders, 25x30 200 PSI, SH (SuperHeater) & FWH (Westinghouse Feedwater Heater BL2 or B2), and 43660 Tractive Effort. These engines were good for fast speeds for passengers and freight on the SP. Between October 28, 1939 to September 11, 1946, all of the P-10s were Rebuilt with RB increased, and 2484 (57630), 2485 (57631), & 2486 (57632) were all rebuilt with Streamlining skirting for the San Joaquin Daylight service in 1941. In 1950s the SP were starting to use diesels & the age of steam were starting to die & passenger service were also declining, starting with the 3 streamlined P-10s having their Streamlining skirts off in April 26-June 30 of 1950. The P-10s were retired & scrapped beginning in January of 1954. Out of all the P-10 class engines, 2479 (57228) was donated to Santa Clara County, California in September 6, 1958. As of 11/10/2025, 2479 has been moved to the Niles Canyon Railway in Sunol, for completion of its restoration and eventual operation of excursions.

Train Numbers:
2478, 2479, 2480, 2481, 2482 (Skyline casing and freight,) 2483, 2484 (Streamlined, Black, no skirt,) 2485 (Streamlined, De-skirt,) 2486 (Streamlined, De-skirt, freight,) 2487, 2488 (Freight and Skyline Casing,) 2489, 2490, 2491 (Freight and Skyline Casing.)

Hows the trains:
textures 100% (The texture for the train)
Model 95% (The engine and tender)
Template 100% (texture on the train or UV)
Sounds 100% (The whistles used)

Controls
* L - Headlight & Numberboards (both Headlight & Smokebox or Skyline Casing if equiped)
* L+1 - Marker Lights Green
* L+2 - Marker Lights White
* L+3 - Marker Lights Red

I have been working my ass off to make this locomotive, this means a lot since this was one of my first locomotives I've ever made (the older version which has it's own workshop page), and seeing how far I've gotten in 3D Modeling.
Hope ya enjoy! And hopefully ya computer don't explode! >:)

Thanks for appreciating the P-10 that I've worked hard to make these. Also the next locomotive pack is the P-10s older cousin (the P-10s were an improved version of the), P-8 Pacifics. Yes, every P-8 will be made, 2472, 2467, & the forgotten excursion show-girl, 2475.
