unlike my previous controller configs, this one will add nothing to the experience if you have a basic controller, you need either a DualShock 4 / DualSense or a Steam Deck to take advantage of it, a controller with back paddles may be able to use the Steam Deck Config

a Switch Pro Controller will help you take advantage of the Gyro, but thats it

1 - right click the collection on your steam library and select "Properties"



2 - go to the controller section and select "Enable Steam Input" from the drop down menu



3 - open this link if you are using a DualShock 4 or DualSense, also works with a Switch Pro Controller, tough you will only get the benefits of the gyro mode

press L3 to toggle Gyro Mode for touch controls, R3 while in Gyro Mode to toggle cursor speed, Left Touchpad works as a mouse, swipe down/swipe up on the Right Touchpad selects next/previous Glyph set in OoE, press the Right Touchpad to perform a Critical Art for the equipped weapon as Jonathan in PoR

this time konami used almost every button on a normal controller, and they made the attack and jump buttons consistent for every game, so there isnt much for me to add, still i feel my config makes the games just a bit more comfortable to play, and if you have a Switch Pro Controller, you can use the gyro toggle atleast

controllers with back paddles may be able to use the steam deck config, but i have no idea, i dont own one of those so i couldnt try it

also why didnt konami add a dedicated button for the sub weapon attack in Haunted Castle Revisited? this is a brand new game they made, why do you still need to press Up + Attack? Super Castlevania IV and Castlevania Bloodlines have an sub weapon attack button, this is a solved problem, are they stupid?
