1280 AD: Livonian Order

This is one of the factions of my 1280 AD Livonian Campaign.

The Livonian Order was made up of the remnants of the Livonian Brothers of the Sword, who merged into the Teutonic Order after the disastrous defeat at the Battle of Saule in 1236. It is one of the three main branches of the Teutonic Order, and it’s commanded by a Landmeister, who coordinates the Order’s efforts to bring Christianity to the region of Livonia. It is now the year 1280 AD, and the Christianization of Livonia is almost complete. However, the Zemgali tribes to the south of the Daugava river stand in defiance, and the Kursi tribes under Livonian control to the west have risen in arms once again. Pacifying the land will be a bloody and arduous task.
