I found you by accident.
I sat down and made my best First XI of all time of football:
GK: Peter Schmeichel
RB: Cafu
RCB: Franco Barasi
LCB: Franz Beckenbauer
LB: Paolo Maldini
DM: Lothar Matthäus
CM: Johan Cruyff
AM: Diego Maradona
RW: Lionel Messi
LW: Cristiano Ronaldo
CF: Ronaldo Nazário
I've already made the system for it in FM26.
I've already built the system in FM26. The GK was tough - I had five candidates, all great but flawed in their own way. I picked Schmeichel: in 1v1s, no one’s better, and his reflexes were absurd. When pressure peaked, he rose higher - EURO 92, the Champions League, you name it. Kahn might’ve been more complete, Buffon more textbook, but Schmeichel’s ceiling was unmatched, just less consistent. He was unorthodox.
My others: Yashin, Banks, Kahn, Neuer.
Buffon sits just below them, then the rest:
Valdés, Casillas, Čech, Lehmann, J. César, Dida, Allison, Ederson, van der Sar, Courtois, Seaman
