(Note: This mod is work in progress, i havent been able to test it entirely but i will add more content as i go. If you encounter any bugs or problems, do leave a comment to report it, thanks!)

Inspired by other mods from the older EU4 game (Such as Lautaro´s legacy and South_america Expanded) This mod aims to bring more life into south america by adding new countries, events, flags, (Still work in progress as im learning how to mod EU5)

I based many of these countries on sources of historical tribes that existed/exist in Chile and Argentina. From well known tribes such as the Mapuche people to the lesser known ones like Yaghan and Kawesqar. How would things in the new world turn out if one (or multiple tribes) advanced beyond what they had in our timeline? Will you change the future of South america?

Hi! First of all, thank you for creating this mod, I love it!

But I'd like to ask something if it's not too much trouble.

I play the game in Spanish, and in other languages, only the placeholders for the mod names appear. Could you keep the Spanish language folder simply as a copy of the English file?

I'm doing it manually myself by creating the file "country_names_l_spanish.yml" (copying it from the English version) and changing the first line to "l_spanish:", but it's something I have to update every time the mod is updated.

And that's it. Thanks again for this great mod. I hope you can make this small gesture for the Hispanic community n_n

UPDATE:

I have now joined the NWIP (New World Improvement Projecct) and will help develop this mod. Patagonia expanded will still recieve updates as i help NWIP in the process. I will do a lot of rebalancing and i will also shrink down a lot of the countries that i have created to match the acurate population count of the tribes at that time. I am open to feedback and ideas if you guys got any ^^

It's a great mod but I do have one issue, that is the Falklands.

There isn't any evidence of pre-Columbian structures nor permanent settlements and while there is some evidence that the Yahgan people might have known about the island, there just isn't any evidence of any pre-European settlement to really justify having them own the island.

For some reason when I try to start as the Orange tribe on the la plata I have a location but nothing and cant creatie anything

How about working together with the New World Improvement Project team? would make it easier for everyone that wants more flavour without needing compatches :steamthumbsup:
