The MK318 SOST, a bugged round type that deals the same damage as 7.62mm NATO rounds even when loaded into the MK18, will be adjusted to deliver more appropriate power based on barrel length.

Additionally, the MK232, created as a reward for single-shot firing in the CIA (and M16 DMR) mode but rendered meaningless as a lower-tier alternative to the MK318, will be buffed.

If you're tired of 5.56mm rifles dominating everything, rendering designated marksmen, machine guns, and battle rifles obsolete, yet still don't want to use the ambiguous M855A1, give this a try. Don't worry. It's still incredibly powerful.

DESCRIPTION
This mode affects only damage without nerfing the MK318's additional fire rate and critical hit rate.
Currently, it deals 35-26 damage regardless of the weapon.
In the modified mode, the M16 has a maximum damage of 34, and the MK18 has a maximum damage of 27. (For reference, the AKM's maximum damage is 26.) Most weapons have been adjusted to have a 15% damage increase, while the MK18, due to its very low base damage, receives an increase of approximately 30%.

The MK262 has been adjusted to match the damage of the modified MK318. The original MK232 was weaker than the nerfed MK318, so this is essentially a buff.
The MK262 retains its superior stats over the MK318 in damage drop-off per distance and reduced critical hit rate. This is because the SDR-M and CIA agents using the MK262 are designed to fire single shots. The developers intended this as compensation, but either the design was flawed or the MK318, using the same ammo type, was too powerful, rendering the compensation meaningless.
