Xorme - AI
The mod is a successor to the EU4 mod Xorme - AI. Like its counterpart, we aim to achieve the best AI performance while maintaining a decent level of compatibility.

Mod updates won’t be very frequent, as I'm ensuring the mod integrates seamlessly with all the game's mechanics and meta, creating a more challenging yet immersive world. Due to this, most of the features are WIP, as I need a community to actually play and judge the game’s AI behaviour, develop meta and strategies that could be used to stimulate AI further.

Working on: Additional script for declaring easy wars and cleaning borders.

Mod AI: (status)
  • AI uses claims and has a special claim-making loop and targeting script concerning its border neighbours.
  • AI uses the parliament more often to get claims.
  • AI nations can maintain up to 3 expansion targets compared to vanilla’s 1.
  • AI aggressiveness is bumped a lot, but not to the point where it breaks immersion or makes the wars suicidal.
  • AI focuses on laws that guarantee higher crown power.
  • AI uses the “better” estate privileges.
  • AI tries to satisfy estates and has relatively fewer rebellions going on compared to vanilla.
  • AI expands and uses vassal swarms semi-optimally, although the vassal play is quite decent.
  • AI has better CB selection.
  • AI is less likely to block itself with bad alliances or guarantees.
  • AI has some minor adjustments when it comes to diplomacy and target selection.
  • AI will try to take more in wars, although the wars might take more time to end.
  • AI spends more to maintain its army.
  • AI spends more to maintain stability, and the threshold is higher.
  • AI war enthusiasm works differently; time is the biggest factor (it encourages better peace deals).
  • AI No-CB wars take into consideration the enemy’s strength compared to vanilla’s random factor.
  • AI will engage in battles more often.
  • AI will be more bold in decision-making.
