This mod adds the M163 Vulcan Air Defense System with Animated Tracks, Doors and a fully functioning Turret to Project Zomboid. It is necessary to have the Military Tool Kit and U.S. M113 APC by Papa_Chad installed.

The M163 VADS (Vulcan Air Defense System) is a self-propelled anti-aircraft weapon based on the M113 chassis. Equipped with the M61 Vulcan 20 mm Gatling gun, this vehicle is capable of unleashing devastating firepower

• Fully Functional Turret with 20 mm Vulcan Cannon
  The turret uses an advanced custom-coded ballistics system independent of the standard Project Zomboid mechanics, calculating the trajectory, kinetic energy, and penetration of each projectile individually. Damage is applied realistically to vehicles, walls, and bodies.

• Firepower - The 20 mm M61 Vulcan is capable of firing up to 3,000 rounds per minute, shredding anything in its path.
  
• Rounds The M61 Vulcan can be loaded with armor-piercing rounds or explosive rounds.
  
• Heavy Support - Perfect for base defense or clearing large hordes.
  
• Tracked Mobility - Able to move over rough terrain where normal vehicles would be stuck.

• High Fuel Consumption - Its weight and tracked system consume much more gasoline than regular vehicles.
  
• Moderate Speed - Slow but unstoppable.
  
• Light Armor - Although based on the M113, its armor protection is limited.
  
• Extremely Noisy - The tracks and Vulcan cannon make it easy for hordes to hear from a great distance.

  How to use the Vulcan Cannon
  • You must sit in the Gunner's seat.
    
  • Load the Vulcan M61 filled with 20 mm Ammo Rounds into the gun compartment.
    
  • Hold Right Mouse Button to aim and Left Mouse Button to fire.
    
  • ATTENTION: The rounds follow the barrel direction, not the mouse cursor. Wait until the turret stabilizes for precise shots.
    
  • WARNING: The 20 mm Vulcan projectiles are extremely powerful and can penetrate vehicles and walls depending on their energy. Use with caution this weapon is not a toy.
  
  
  Variations
  Military versions can be found in military zones, airbases.
  
  
  
  Known BUGS
  • Armor does not protect against firearm attacks from NPC mods.
    
  • When loading a save, the turret may temporarily reset its position.
