The Heavy Defense Association (HDA) is a federation-turned-defense-industrial concern forged from planetary militias, sector fleets, and volunteer brigades. Where other organizations promise finesse, HDA promises results: heavily armored platforms, uncompromising ordnance, and personnel trained to finish the job under fire. We are pragmatic, durable, and mission-focused.

What we do

Origins & organization
HDA grew out of a loose federation of planetary defense units, volunteer militias, and sector fleets that pooled forces to protect trade routes and population centers. Over time the federation professionalized: central command was established to coordinate strategy, standardize training, and ensure uninterrupted supply for long-term operations. While our roots are local and grassroots, our structure is disciplined and capable of running sustained, large-scale defensive campaigns.

Relationship with CTC
HDA was one of three founding forces behind the Chaos Trade Company (CTC), alongside the NAC Nordic Artillerycraft Company and early independent traders. Though we helped channel chaotic trade into orderly, defensible commerce, HDA retains veto rights on the CTC council (two-thirds majority). We cooperate where interests align and provide heavy protective services for CTC operations when called — and when we judge a plan dangerous, we will hit the table and make it stop.
