🧠 Overview

This is a full rebuild of the original Stargate mod, redesigned to work perfectly with all of Jefferey Slaven’s custom Stellaris species and system packs — including Modding_101_by_JeffereySlaven, Asgard Species, Goa’uld Species, Ori Species, and more.

The mod adds real, functional Stargates across the galaxy — built as stable wormhole bypasses that allow instant travel between key systems, empires, and hidden Ancient worlds.

🚀 Main Features
🌀 True Wormhole-Based Stargates

Each Stargate uses Stellaris’s native wormhole mechanics, meaning all ships (AI and player) can travel through them once discovered or stabilized.

Gates are bi-directionally linked — no more one-way travel bugs.

You can see, scan, and explore each gate as part of your empire’s galactic expansion.

🌍 Lore System Placement

Stargates are distributed across important lore systems — including Sol, Abydos, Dakara, and several hidden Ancient or Wraith worlds.

Each system’s gate connects into a larger Stargate Network, which grows dynamically as more gates are discovered.

Compatible with Modding_101 (SG-1 Sol + OPS System) for direct integration — your Sol gate links to your OPS pocket system seamlessly.

This mod acts as the travel and lore hub for all of Jeff’s major species mods:

⚡ Gate Event Chain (Optional)

Unlocks a “Stargate Activation” event at game start or after discovering ancient technology.

Choose between lore-based dialogue options to control when your network awakens.

Fully compatible with the Ancient Cache (jeff.1) and OPS wormhole events.

Adds a few hidden rewards for explorers who locate all major gates.

Okay, I can see I've really screwed up here and I'm genuinely sorry.

To explain, not excuse it: I was just practicing making mods in the game, specifically to do with universities. These were just personal mods for my own games. I uploaded them to the Workshop thinking it would just be a cloud save for myself—a really dumb move, I know now. I never meant to publish them or take credit for anyone's work.

I feel awful for using other people's stuff without asking and for causing all this drama. I completely understand why it was taken down and I'm sorry to the original modders and everyone here. I'll be way more careful and respectful in the future.

@MechaWife any mod that adds anything besides UI stuff 90% of the time needs a new save, unless it's a non-major update to an already installed mod

also this mod looks sick, gonna give it a try if i can get my damned game to launch without crashing lol, 4.1 murdered my modlist
