Open your heart to hatred. Open your mind to fury. Open your soul to the Dark Ones. - Chaos Knights

The fallen nobility of chaos has arrived to claim Gladius as their own.

The Chaos Knights bring a variety of War Dogs, Titanic Knights and disposable slaves with them.They use these slaves to empower their economy just like their brethren the Chaos Space Marines and more directly to empower their mighty engines of war.

Chaos Knights are Harbingers of Dread. Wherever they step they spread fear and misery reducing enemy morale. Use influence to empower this aspect and add new effects to your units aura.

Their arrogance and need for superiority limits the size of cities beyond your starting city. Only your starting city is able to build Titanic Knights.

There are no heroes among the Chaos Knights. As such they have no hero units ingame, instead every walker unit of theirs gains abilities upon leveling.

Your first major decision upon arrival on Gladius will be to which Dark God you swear your allegiance. This will change the cost and abilities of your War Dogs and Titanic Knights.

Allegiance to Khorne will require ore for production and add an influence upkeep. Your War Dogs and Titanic Knights will gain influence through combat and use the collected influence to activate their abilities more frequently.

Allegiance to Nurgle will require ore and food for production. You War Dogs and Titanic Knights will become bastions of filth and disease, each of them will gain ways to spread diseases among enemies.

Allegiance to Tzeentch will require ore and energy for production. Your War Dogs and Titanic Knights will awaken psychic abilities to manipulate the battlefield in their favour.

Allegiance to Slaanesh will require ore for production. Some of your War Dogs and Titanic Knights will be able to sacrifice their health for more powerful abilities. Your headquarter units will gain the ability to equip your War Dogs and Titanic Knights with items in exchange for influence.

For balance and progression reasons the War Dogs Karnivore and Brigand and the Knight Abominant have reduced stats when first researched, after researching further War Dog patterns or the Knight Desecrator they will increase in production cost and new units will be more powerful.

Because item slots can't be changed through level up as such I copied the Taus support system and created copies of every item.

The original idea was to use items the usual way, but it's not the first time I have to search for a work around.

Curious on one thing, why make it so the hq gives the items instead of having item slots to buy in shops? is it just for balance?

The cultist sacrifice should be fixed.

Any city beyond your first only benefiting from 1 radius increase is intentional.

Sorry, I have some doubts. Sacrificing the cultists doesn't increase growth; only consuming population increases growth. Also, the first city is the only one that receives the 2-space technology upgrades, while the other cities only receive 1 space of expansion. My English isn't good, sorry for the inconvenience.

The issue should be fixed, finding the issue was easy and the solution much easier to figure out than I first feared.

I've started looking into the issue and saw some of the issues. But some more clarifications would be helpful.

Do the issues only apply to Knight Abominant, War Dog Karnivore and War Dog Brigand. Or Are Knight Desecrator, Knight Tyrant and War Dog Stalker also affected?

Ok, so I kept playing and seems to be two different issues.

The changing stats I saw only on war dogs, any unit of war dogs. Levels were all over the place, once on lvl 2 war dog, once on lvl 5 and i think i didn't see it after they unlocked their elite ability. Will monitor it for more info.

Second one is that knights seem to be eager to die. This was observed with all the knights, but 9 health seems to be lethal. Enemy shoots my knights, I drop to 9, start my turn at 9 HP and die.

Other than those, I LOVE the mod! Please keep up the good work

Is it any Wardog or only those that have unlocked their elite ability?
