TALES OF NORMANDY: D-3 Draw, Les Moulins [Mission]

On the 6th of June, 1944 , the U.S. Army's V Corps landed in the German-occupied location of Normandy, alongside with British and Canadian forces. The V Corps were sent to target Omaha Beach, an 8km / 5mi long beach that had heavily fortified strongholds, known as "Widerstandsnests". In total, there were 12 strongholds facing Omaha, each equipped with numerous weaponry such as machine-guns, Regelbau casemates and bunkers, anti-tank guns, and mortars.

The V Corps landed at around 6:30am, and soldiers of the 116th Infantry Regiment of the 29th Infantry Division, 743rd and 741st Tank Battalions, and the United States Navy were tasked to attack Les Moulins, constant fire from the LXXXIV Corps' numerous positions had caused problems and made it hard for the V Corps to proceed.

This mission is experienced better with Project Realism LUT lighting, and a high number of units for an authentic and equally chaotic experience. However, you can choose to lower the number for smoother gameplay if your platform cannot handle it..
