描述
In the world of Zenless Zone Zero, the Silver Squad was a failed project of producing an army of perfect soldiers, so loyal they would kill themselves if commanded to. The project eventually failed and all soldiers were abandoned, gravely injured. This mod follows the game's story, revolving about clones instead.

How to Start Cloning
After researching the cloning technology, you will need to build a cloning vat and a chip workbench.
The chip workbench allows you to build genome imprints and brain chips.

Genome imprints are used to scan a pawn, alive or recently deceased, and are needed to clone someone. They hold all physical information of a pawn. This means the imprint won't be able to record the skills of the original pawn, and any non organic limbs will be missing.

The brain chips are used to modify the skills and traits of the clone. Adding these will increase the risk of the cloning process going wrong. This is called instability.


  1. Scan a living or recently deceased pawn using the gizmo of a genome imprint.
  2. In the vat, select that imprint on the left side button.
  3. After crafting any brain chip of your liking, add it to the clone through the '+' buttons on the middle.
  4. Schedule any surgeries you'd like on the right side.

After confirming your settings, you will have to make sure to keep the vat powered and fed with nutrient paste. Without any of these resources, the clone's instability will increase.
If the instability gets too high and the odds aren't in your favor, your clone will be incinerated, at the very best.


Future Plans
I am definitely not done with this mod. I would like to add small expansions after specific themes, such as expanding on the bad outcomes at a bigger scale, making body enhancements restricted for clones, or adding cloning stations if Odyssey is enabled.
I've tried my best to make the mod XML configurable, if you want to make an expansion, feel free to do so!


Known Bugs
I know about the + mark in the imprint section being off center. The math is failing me and i don't know why.
No known bugs other than that, but the mod is new and they're bound to happen, please be patient.

Is the mod compatible with Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded?
I cant seam to connect it to the pipe system no matter what i do. Been troubleshooting the issue.
How is the clone vat meant to be filled with paste normally?

Seems like if a Pawn has any kind of brain implant (even implants which aren't replacers? I'd have to test this more) the clone is cloned without a Brain? It does look like Mechlinks don't cause this problem, but modded implants (which are not replacers) do seem to cause this problem. Also possibly psylinks, gonna check.

Another weird thing is that pawns seem to merge genomes into the same stack (which erases a genome) even if they have different people's genes stored in them.

Great idea for a mod. I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but mod settings would be nice. Like the ability to change how long it takes, instability, etc. I keep getting half way through the cloning process only for it to abort due to instabiltiy (only 20%) lol.

Thanks for responding, Theklborg, but that didn't really help. I've got the tech researched and the pod made, but I can't get the menu to respond to actually clone someone. I assumed I had to do something with the imprints, but I have no idea. There is not enough instruction.

Added a new batch of chips that increase the skill by 15, but they're more unstable and more expensive
Next batch will probably have random skills and traits to be found as loot

I don't quite understand how you scan someone into an imprint. Can someone help point me in the right direction?
