描述

This mod is datacoring the hud_campaign_resource_bar_default.twui.xml in order to limit number of elements displayed on the resources bar to maximum of 8. This should help with visibility of resources when using extra mechanics mods on all screen resolutions, rearranging and limiting the resources bar into multiple rows with 8 elements maximum each.


This mod is a new replacement for my previously hosted 2 mods below that will soon be deleted. As they were my experimental response to overlapping UI - they still caused issues with custom & 4k screen resolutions that required additional manual adjustment in RPFM by individual user. This mod should not require anymore additional tweaks and should work with all screen resolutions by default, but I still consider this mod as BETA and in experimental state.

Please let me know down in the comments if this mod is causing any issues with your screen resolution or is overlapping with any mods, but I have tested it with 800+ mods and it didn't overlap with any of the ones i subscribe.

In the future i will try to edit the resources bar background ribbon image so it adjust better to the resize and possibily appear also in new additional rows of resource elements, however it will require script that i don't know how to write (yet). Apart from that mod is working as intended as tested on 1080p (1920 × 1080)

after 8 the buttons go off screen, i made mods that allow more campaign mechanic buttons displayed, check linked collection UI mods

Out of curiosity, do you know how many max buttons the UI allows for faction mechanics on the bottom right of the campaign screen?

@ChopChop Fair enough. You already do more than enough for this community I'm not going to complain if you feel they aren't worth the trouble. @Egirl Seat: No, my intention was never to create a new layout for WH3, but to solve a problem of vanilla button docker not able to accomodate more than 8 buttons in unmodded state as they are going off screen and bloat the circle. Disable any UI button mod of mine and start enabling mechanics mods and you will see whats going on: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3597275642
The button mods are the biggest pain in the back to update and they didnt got enough popularity for me to carry them for a handful of people, as i dont even use the top bar versions myself. the animation is broken when game is trying to hide them.
I appreciate everyone that participated in testing those mods though, it was fun while it lasted. I dont recommend anyone to reupload them either as they require update after EVERY PATCH.
They also dont work for all resolutions, so people had to edit the mod extra themself, which is extra bad and is missing the point and purpose of the mod.

None, its fake. I didnt have any mod enabled for the pictures. i opened the UI viewer and enabled the elements with 👁 icon to show them for screenshots so that i can showcase the behaviour i set for the elements on resource bar.

Any chance of the mechanics at the top making a comeback? I really liked that layout and I'm sorry to see it's gonna be deleted soon
