M45 "Bullfrog" tactical Shotgun (Chrome Shotgun)

"The M45 Tactical "Bullfrog" variant is a stockless, paratrooper-focused modification of the iconic shotgun, designed for ODST units and UNSC Army Paratroopers who require speed and mobility in close-quarters combat. It is named in honor of the "Bullfrogs," the courageous Air Assault ODSTs who gave their lives during the Siege of New Alexandria on Reach.

It boasts a dual tubular, non-detachable magazine above the barrel which is capable of storing eight M296 8-Gauge Magnum shells. Reloading is done by inserting shells into the top of the weapon. The magazine and barrel are surrounded in a heat shroud with a pump action below and a picatinny rail atop for mounting optical attachments. With a compact frame, it allows for quick deployment and ease of use in close quarters. This variant is configured to excel in high-intensity drops and rapid assault operations."
