描述
Feel like your dojo is missing something? Want your turret guards skilled enough to actually hit their targets?
Problem solved—introducing Perception Training Searchlights! Now your recruits can sharpen their eyes without firing a bolt at every shadow.

📖 Overview 📖
Adds a way to train Perception using modified Searchlights instead of more training dummies.
Once researched, they can be found under TRAINING → Perception Training.

Perception Training Searchlight Mk.I
• Construction: 2 Iron Plates, 1 Electrical Component
• Max Skill Level: 10
• Power Drain: -1
• Research: Perception Training (Tech 1, 3 books)

Perception Training Searchlight Mk.II
• Construction: 2 Iron Plates, 1 Electrical Component, 1 Steel Bar
• Max Skill Level: 20
• Power Drain: -1
• Research: Perception Training II (Tech 2, 4 books)

Perception Training Searchlight Mk.III
• Construction: 2 Iron Plates, 2 Electrical Components, 1 Steel Bar
• Max Skill Level: 30
• Power Drain: -2
• Research: Perception Training III (Tech 3, 6 books)

🚩 Compatibility 🚩
• Fully compatible with everything: all new entries, zero conflicts, load in any order.
• Beep is a swordsman. Beep is unsure what to think about Perception.

But:
• It caps at levels 10, 15, and 20.
• I didn’t want another dummy in my dojo. Using a unique building makes the Searchlights easy to spot and keeps your training area tidy.

@ChaosMole That would be really cool, but unfortunately it does not. I’m not entirely sure what controls turret targeting behavior, but it’s probably tied to the “Turret” function itself and can’t be applied to objects using the “Training” functionality. If you do know a way though, I'd be happy to update my mod!

Granted, by the time we got to Cat-Lon, I think Old Man had 88 Crossbows before the 10% bonus from Drifter's Leathers.

I gave Beep a crossbow in my very first playthrough. Him and Old Man (my MC) absolutely crushed Cat-Lon. Turns out, double bolts from two Eagle's Crosses to an unarmored head makes really quick work of the "strongest" enemy in Kenshi.

as a crossbow enjoyer, this pleases me greatly
