PATH (Port Authority Trans-Hudson) AM Rush NJ to NYC

描述
WARNING DISCLAIMER: This is a map is first and foremost a multiplayer map! Unless you set up all the track sensors at the beginning of the scenario, do not attempt to run this timetable solo. You will have a rough time.

Welcome to the Port Authority Trans-Hudson system! On this unique map, you will experience the entirety of the PATH system from Newark, Journal Square, & Hoboken, New Jersey to World Trade Center & 33rd Street in Manhattan, New York City from abound 4:45AM to 12 noon. Every scheduled run is represented, and every equipment cycle is as recreated as faithfully as the game engine allows, with some cycles being split in half to simulate equipment problem or programmed drop outs.

This timetable starts out extremely slow but quickly becomes very busy as trains enter service from the various yards around the system. By about 7:30AM, NWK-WTC trains are at a 5 minute interval, JSQ-33rd trains are at a 4 min interval, and HOB-33rd & HOB-WTC are both at an 8 minute interval. Careful handling is required at the Grove Street and Pavonia Interlockings to ensure trains are being sequenced and routed correctly. Starting around 9:30AM, many of the consist cycles will begin to drop out of service and run light to the yard for the mid-day, until only the trains required to run off peak service remain out on the railroad.

If you intend to run this timetable manually, I suggest a minimum of 3 people are needed to properly dispatch the system; one person for NWK, Harrison yard, and JSQ, one person for the Grove Street and Pavonia Interlockings, and one person for the three main terminals (Hoboken, WTC, and 33rd). I have fleeted what signals can be fleeted at the start of the day, but this may change as yard moves require.

As mentioned above, I have placed track sensors liberally throughout the system and left them un-programmed. This allows you the option of setting up the railroad to run with CBTC active if you wish. Be warned that you will still need to tend to a few yard moves here and there (mostly from C yard, and the late morning dropouts to Harrison Shops), and also keep an eye on the Grove / Pavonia plants to ensure trains do not mis-sequence themselves.

Overall, this map and schedule took about a week to lay down, program, and test, so I welcome any and all feedback you may have. Enjoy and happy dispatching!
