What if the Soviets won the Cold War. Red Dawn explores the one possibility of many in this alternative history world.

Some Lore: Instead of Mikhail Gorbachev being the martyr for liberalization in the Soviet Union, the reforms come much earlier, and during a more economically prosperous time. Due to the heights of the Cold War brewing much higher and longer, Africa is heavily affected. From the unity of the East African Federation to the instability of Sudan and it's breakaways. After winning the Cold War, the Soviet Union sees benefit in reorganizing the Warsaw Pact with it's swarm of new members, renaming and re-purposing into the Thessaloniki Pact (Thessaloniki is the second largest city in Greece after Athens). East Turkestan is independent due to Soviet protection from the 1930's to the end of the Warsaw Pact in 1995.
