Values are entered from a blocking XBus.

When the unlock button is pressed, unlock the door only if the three most recent inputs match the combination. The combination is stored in three dials.

When the lock button is pressed, lock the door.

IMPORTANT: After the lock button is pressed, the unlock button should not unlock the door unless the full combination is entered again.

It has a frustrating number of inputs, but I ended up with a solution I thought was fun. I hope you can as well.
