描述
Tired of digging through dozens of armor mods with no real system? Armor Crafting Redux: Fusion expands the Redux Core system, allowing you to integrate multiple armor mods while keeping your benches organized, your research clear, and your crafting sanity intact. All without ever breaking your game.

🛡️ Overview 🛡️
Fusion is a modular expansion for Armor Crafting Redux, designed to:
• Extend the Core research tree with additional armor unlocks.
• Introduce Fusion benches that are visually distinct but immediately recognizable.
• Organize armor mods cleanly, reducing clutter and wasted scroll time.
• Function safely even if you have none of the optional mods installed.

🗝️ Requirements 🗝️
• The only dependency is Armor Crafting Redux: Core. Make sure to load it *before* Fusion.

🎏 Optional Mods 🎏
Fusion works by adding the armor from these mods to your Redux Research Tree and Fusion Benches. You can install as many or as few as you want — Fusion will *always* be compatible and will *never* give you a dependency warning (as long as Core is installed). The mods are conveniently available in one Steam Workshop Collection:

🎯 Highlighted Mods 🎯
If you don’t know which Optional Mods to choose, or don’t want all of them, here are three of my top picks:
• Ashigaru Armour - Traditional samurai-style armor.

• Vanilla Head GearFull-coverage variant - Adds full-coverage heavy armor headgear options

• Wolf Headgear – Adds unique headgear with the look of a bone dog

📦 Full Redux Package 📦
I recommend going for the complete Redux experience. All modules are available in one Steam Workshop Collection:

🏆 Advantages 🏆
• Fully modular: Fusion works independently of other armor mods. Dead-end research is safe — your game won’t crash, and no conflicts occur.
• Safe experimentation: All Fusion unlocks cost only books, so you can research without risking rare artifacts.
• Better organization: Bench icons and Fusion armor stands clearly indicate type and ownership. No guessing which station does what.
• Reduced bloat: Recipes are organized and separated from vanilla content, so crafting remains streamlined.
• Flexible integration: The more compatible mods you have installed, the more meaningful Fusion research becomes — but it works fine with none of them.

⚙️ How It Works ⚙️
• Reverse Dependency: Fusion is technically loaded before the armor mods it adds, using placeholder entries to create a safe research framework. This ensures that Fusion research always has targets while remaining harmless on its own.
• Load Order:
1. 2PN8CraftingReduxVanilla.mod (Armor Crafting Redux – Core)
2. 2PN8CraftingReduxPlus.mod (Armor Crafting Redux – Fusion)
3. All other armor mods you wish to integrate

🧪 Research Structure 🧪
• Respective Core unlocks must be completed first (Cloth, Leather, Plate, Chain).
• Fusion research becomes available afterward — only books are required.
• This prevents accidental waste of artifacts on incomplete or dead-end trees.
• All Fusion armors are located under "Crafting: Fusion," keeping all potential dead-end trees in one category. When exploring this section, check which mods you have installed.
• Visibility: Research nodes clearly indicate required mods with a “[Requires: (Mod Name)]” tag.
• Dummy items: If research is accidentally learned, the item will say "MISSING MOD: Mod Name," helping prevent wasted crafting materials.

⚖ Why This Works ⚖
• Immersion: Fusion builds on the existing Core system; the crafting progression feels natural and maintains player agency.
• Balance: Core research still requires artifacts, maintaining early-game resource decisions. Fusion research is safe, letting you experiment without penalty.
• Compatibility: Fusion is harmless if you don’t have the listed mods installed. Dead-end research won’t break your game.

🚩 Compatibility 🚩
• Fusion modules must be loaded after Core.
• All optional armor mods are supported, but none are required. Fusion will function independently, though it becomes more meaningful with compatible mods installed.
• I recommend the Fusion collection for a complete integrated experience.

🧩 Developer's Note 🧩
Across all its modules, Crafting Redux adds a lot of new content — over 177 new data entries between the two Core modules alone. These include new research paths, crafting recipes, and benches. I've done my best to ensure everything works perfectly, but if you spot something missing or broken, please let me know in the comments — I'll patch it up as soon as I can. 👍

Hey everyone — just a heads-up that I can add more mods to the Fusion list over time. If there’s one you’d like to see included, drop it in the comments. I can’t promise I’ll add everything, but I’ll check out every suggestion and let you know what’s possible.
